Panic and Scurry
The characters Panic and Scurry were inspired by the family of wood mice that once lived under a patio step. I used to sit watching them collect food and bedding for their nest. This was fun, but it wasn’t funny when they later decided to move into the kitchen, rummage through the drawers and feast on the bird food.
The adventurous little scamps then moved to the attic, where they ravaged our much loved Christmas decorations. And, some time ago, much to our amazement, we found a curious cache of peanuts under a wardrobe!
